Meet Chris

Hi,

My name is Chris and I came on staff with UCM in August 2019.  After many years of supporting students in a local high school as an educational assistant, I felt God  leading me back into full-time Christian service. I'm excited about joining the team at UBC as a campus minister and am looking forward to meeting with students.

I was born in Vancouver and completed elementary and high school in Montreal.  I do speak French for those who want to practice. After graduating from Gordon Conwell Seminary (near Boston), I moved back to Vancouver in 1994.  Yes, I’m the middle aged guy on staff. My kids think I’m “old.” I married in 1997. Andrea and I have 2 children attending Vancouver Christian school.  Our desire is to see more of His Kingdom come to our city. It’s going to be an exciting year.
