Meet Elsa, Our PrayerCo

Hi Everyone!

My name is Elsa and I’m so excited to serve as the UCM prayer coordinator for the 2026/2027 school year! I look forward to getting to see the ways God will work in our club, university, and city in the coming school year. I think prayer ministry is so special because it is a place where we take time out of our weeks to be still and thank God for those things he is doing, and bring to him the things on our hearts and minds that we can not work through on our own. In addition it is a great gift to pray for one another in prayer meetings, TNT, and beyond! I cannot wait to meet the lovely people who will be a part of the prayer team next year and I hope it will include you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, suggestions, or just want to have a friendly face at UBC!

Some facts about myself:

  • I’m going into my 3rd year studying psychology here at UBC and hope to go on to become a counselor one day.
  • I am from Bellingham, Washington which is just across the border (you may know the town as being the home of the nearest trader joe’s)
  • I am a very novice PNW outdoorsy person, whether that be hiking, climbing, mountain biking, or skiing. (though I rarely find the time during school)
  • I love to read! Mostly fiction but I am trying to get into more books that teach me more, always let me know if you have any suggestions!:)
