Meet our Staff, Grace

Hi! I'm Grace, and I'm a new addition to the staff team this year! I'll mainly be helping with pastoral care for women, and leading discipleship huddles. :) 

A little more about my journey with UCM: I'm originally from Hong Kong, and I first joined UCM in my freshman year at UBC Okanagan. During my university years, God blessed me abundantly through the community I found at UCM. This eventually led me to doing the Campus Ministry Apprenticeship (CMA) last year, also at UBCO. Through the CMA, God has confirmed my long-term calling to ministry. I'll therefore be pursuing my Master of Divinity at Regent College full-time starting this Fall, while working part-time with UCM at UBC. 

I'm very passionate about building community and journeying with students where they are at. I firmly believe in the power of intentional discipleship, and I feel called to equip students to become faithful followers of Jesus, and then release them to do the same. I'm super excited to join this community, and I'm looking forward to what God has in store for UBC this year! Please don't be shy to reach out, I'd love to take you out for coffee and hear your story! :)

P.s. fun fact, I LOVE animals, to the point where I have a BSc (Hons) in Zoology haha
