Meet Jameson

Hi my name is Jameson (jame-son, unlike the ever popular jam-i-son), and I’m really excited to serve with UCM this year!

I’m originally from Kelowna, BC where I started my undergraduate journey at UBCO. After my first year, I transferred to UBC to take a double major in English language and Philosophy. When I moved to Vancouver I left behind a beautiful Christian community but after getting settled in I was able to get involved with UCM, so I can attest to how welcoming and warm the community can be. I participated in TNT’s and cores and worship with UCM and served as a Core-leader and Sound guy before I graduated.

Having graduated in 2019, I’m excited to be able to work with UCM as a Campus Missionary Aide while I take a Masters of Divinity at Regent College. In particular, I’ll be working with the worship leaders and teams to help organize and see how we can band together (pun intended) to worship God more fully, joyfully, humbly, intentionally  and beautifully.

​A quick bit about me: I’ve got a strong British heritage, but a woeful fake British accent. I love to make music, read books, drink tea, and ride bikes. I love philosophy, theology, ideas, and conversations. I like a good movie or television show. My guilty pleasure is reading sci-fi/fantasy novels before bed—if you are a Tolkien fan, I’ll probably love you.
