Meet our CashCo, Mark

Hi friends!!
My name is Mark and I am super excited to serve you next year as the UCM Treasurer. I joined UCM in my first year (all the way back in 2021) and I am so excited to give back to this community that has really shaped me. I've loved being able to go through university walking with God, and making so many wonderful friends and connections in this community. Here's a bit more info about me!


  • I was born and raised here in Vancouver and I'll be going into my fifth and final year at UBC studying a combined major of math and computer science
  • My taste in music is interesting to say the least including mainly Christian pop/rock (TobyMac, Skillet, MercyMe), and video game soundtracks (Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon)
  • Building off that, I also love playing video games (mainly Nintendo). Let me know if you ever want to race in Mario Kart or battle in Smash Bros!
  • Board and card games are also pastimes I love with Catan, 7 Wonders, Dutch Blitz and Anomia being some of my favourites
  • I'm also a proud nerd obsessed with SciFi/Fantasy movies like Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc.
  • Finally, keeping active is crazy important to me so you will definitely see me around kicking soccer balls, diving for frisbees, running through Pacific Spirit, biking by Jericho beach, or skiing down the Whistler slopes

I am so excited to meet you next year or connect more if we've already met! I'm always around if you want to reach out to chat or go on a coffee run togther (but heads up I will be ordering hot chocolate). Can't wait to see what God has in store for next year!
