Meet our OutCo, William

Yoooo, what’s up ya’ll!

My name is William and I’m going to be your outreach coordinator for the upcoming 26’-27’ school year. I’m so excited to get to serve the UCM community in this way and to see how God works in all of you this year. Here’s a few things about me:

  • I grew up in the states and spent 9 years first in Chicago, Illinois and then 9 years in a smallish cozy town in North Carolina called Winston-Salem.
  • I was saved on a mission trip that my church took to Kentucky in 6th grade and that experience was so powerful and spiritually formative for my faith! I’d love to talk to any of ya’ll more about that because I have so many God moments.
  • After some rough seasons and a lot of idolizing things other than my faith throughout high school I finally decided to get baptized and to go public with my faith. This was huge for me because I realized my dependency on God and how much I needed Him in my classes, social life, family, and I could honestly just keep going - they should let us do voice memos for this.
  • I am really passionate about pushing people to be more bold and exercise more faith and trust in God in their faith. Especially when it comes to discipleship it’s so necessary to have strong mentorship, to do life vulnerably with peers, and to show all you’ve seen of God to people that are just beginning to experience Him.
