Meet our CoCo, Emily

Hey everyone! 

My name is Emily and I can’t wait to bring UCM’s vision to life as communications coordinator this year! 
A little about me is that I’m in my fifth year, studying speech sciences which means I love learning anything about languages. I did French immersion growing up (like every other kid who’s from Vancouver) and I’ve been able to take some intro language courses at UBC like Italian, Mandarin and ASL. They’re so fun, I would highly recommend! I also love to travel, do anything outdoorsy and bake crazy 3D cakes.

Ever since I joined a Core group in my third year I’ve been able to meet some amazing people in the UCM community. We’ve been able to grow in our faith together amongst the joys of life, the trials and moments spent (sometimes not so) patiently waiting for the Lord to reveal where He’s working in our lives. Having a community like this has filled my cup with many blessings when I felt it was empty and so I’m very excited to share Jesus’ love and this community with YOU!
