SUPPORTING AND EMPOWERING STUDENTS BEYOND UNIVERSITY
The university years are a rich time especially for those involved in a community like UCM. But the transition out of university can be a difficult road - transitioning communities, finding a job, and starting a new phase of life is challenging. UCM Alumni are uniquely positioned to walk alongside new graduates as they navigate this period of life.
Interested in walking alongside a graduate in this process?
We are starting a 1- year graduate-alumni mentorship program. As an alumni, you would meet with a graduating student starting in the last semester of their graduating year, and meet with them over a one year period. Every relationship will be different, but generally you would meet every 3-4 weeks to check-in, swap stories, and pray together. At the one year point, the graduate has hopefully transitioned well into work and new communities and perhaps is ready to meet with a new graduating student, this time as a mentor!
Are you an alumni and interested in helping out in this way? Email [email protected] and tell us about yourself (field of work, year you graduated, church you attend, etc). We'll be in touch!
Are you a graduating UCM student? Fill out this form to let us know!
