Meet Rachel

Hi everyone! My name is Rachel and I am honoured to be serving this year as UCM’s Prayer Coordinator! 
I’m excited to help create spaces for people to meet with God, to root everything that we do at UCM in prayer, and to pray for the community, campus, and world. When we abide in Jesus, and Jesus in us, we will indeed bear much fruit (John 15) :) I have experienced Jesus’ love transform my heart and life, and am excited to walk deeper with the UCM family and watch as He continues to change our lives and the lives of others at UBC. 
Some other things about me:
  • I’m in my 5th year of Integrated Engineering, specializing in materials and software engineering 
  • I love spending time with people, whether over a meal, playing games, having good chats, moving, or studying 
  • I love being outside
  • I’m always down for a swim at the pool or the ocean 
  • I grew up in Toronto and have family living in 4 different continents
